Email & Communications Policy
Rescue Feline Voices’ communications standards, consent, and opt-out information.
Current website services
Effective October 19, 2019. This website does not currently collect newsletter subscriptions or send automated email. It does not currently offer an online unsubscribe form because no website mailing list is enabled. You can reach us at info@rescuefelinevoices.org. For communication preferences or concerns, call +1 502 262 3634, email info@rescuefelinevoices.org, or write to Rescue Feline Voices, 2700 Beacon Hill Road, Alexandria, VA 22306.
Standards for future email
Before enabling a mailing program, we will provide a clear signup choice stating what a person is subscribing to. We will not use purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party marketing lists. Adoption inquiries, donations, or volunteering alone will not enroll a person in marketing email. Consent records and communication preferences must be maintained before sending.
Message identity and opting out
Future messages must accurately identify Rescue Feline Voices and their purpose, use truthful sender and subject information, and include our postal address. Marketing messages must include a clear, working unsubscribe option that does not require a payment or account login. Requests must be honored within 10 business days; the opt-out mechanism must remain available for at least 30 days after sending. One-click unsubscribe will be included where required by receiving providers.
Delivery safeguards
Before launching automated email, the sending domain must be verified and authenticated, and bounce, complaint, and unsubscribe processing must be operational. Hard-bounced addresses and recipients who complain or opt out must be suppressed from further applicable messages. These are launch requirements, not claims that an email service is currently configured.
Reporting a concern
Call, email, or write with the date, subject, and sender of a concerning message. Do not include passwords, full payment details, or other sensitive information. We will review your concern and the appropriate communication preferences.
